A complex and disruptive business landscape in 2020 is demanding more than just resilience from businesses. A post COVID-19 world requires innovators that can take their organisations to the next level and focus on driving new value, consistently and repeatedly.

Now in its 6th year of existence, Innocentrix’s South African Innovation League recognises and rewards South Africa’s top innovation leaders. It exists to not only recognise top innovators, but also to impact growth and innovation capability building in Africa!

The Innovation League also provides local case studies, frameworks, information pieces, strategic approaches and relevant methodologies, together with deep insights on our local innovation context, in order to help facilitate better ROI for innovation in Africa.

The Innovation League report, unpacking the Innovation landscape and relevant insights in South Africa over the last 6 years, is available for free download from our website.

The SA Innovation League is an Innocentrix initiative, in collaboration with Milpark Business School and the Da Vinci Institute’s Technology Top 100 (tt100) Awards. The approach applies the internationally recognised Innovation Readiness Model (IRM) developed by French Business School INSEAD, in collaboration with UK based firm CGI. It provides an unique way of benchmarking an organisation’s ability to apply leading edge thinking to the topic of collaborative innovation. It considers four key areas: Leadership and ambition; Organisation and collaboration; People and culture and Implementation and measurement. The SA Innovation League provides valuable insights into the local innovation landscape, fostering learning and growth.

Milpark Business School plays a central role in the validation and application of the instrument, while keeping it relevant into the future.
